Between the 27th May to the 3rd June 2012 Cyclopark will be holding its official opening launch. During this week we will be holding a Sky Ride event. This is a mass participant ride. Kent will also hosting a programme of Sky Ride Local led rides across the county on various other dates.
We are looking for enthusiastic people to become Sky Ride Local and Sky Ride Leaders, which will involve leading small groups of people on fun, local bike rides. British Cycling Ride Leaders inspire cyclists to get more out of their riding, have fun and get a recognised qualification. You just need to be confident on your bike and keen to help others.
The certificate qualifies you to independently plan, deliver and evaluate rides to groups of beginner and intermediate level children or adults. As a Sky Ride Leader you'll receive a jersey and rain jacket. Sky Ride Leaders are paid £45 for leading a ride and £30 for assisting on a ride.
The one day training will take place late January/early February 2012.
